Why should I join the mailing list?

By joining our mailing list you will be notified about upcoming events and announcements. Everyone will receive periodic announcements via e-mail. If you do not have access to the internet, you will be notified through the U.S. Mail system.

Where are Florida Singles’ Connection events held? 

Our events are held at various locations such as nightclubs, restaurants or hotels throughout Broward County, Palm Beach County and Miami-Dade County. We rotate locations for a change of pace and to please everyone. All you have to do is pick the events that are convenient for you and just show up.

What Should I Expect?

At most events, entertainment is provided by disc jockeys or live bands. A variety of fun Top 40 music is played ranging from classic disco to today’s hits along with some slow sets and requests. At some restaurants, piped in music is provided. A complimentary buffet and / or hors d’oeuvres are usually served at most events. At some events, a lavish gourmet buffet is provided. There will be a Cash Bar at all events. Some events offer 2 for 1 drinks and discounted prices exclusively arranged for Florida Singles’ Connection atttendees. The reason single people attend Florida Singles’ Connection events is to socialize. The people are friendly and you will find it really easy to meet new and exciting friends at our events.

Who attends the parties?

Nice, friendly people attend our events, the type you desire to meet. This is certainly not a cliquish organization. You will not encounter a snobby or stuck up crowd. We attract a genuine, friendly, realistic group of people who want to be proactive in meeting other singles safely.

What does it cost to attend our events?

The cost to attend a Florida Singles’ Connection event normally runs between $10. and $20. per event depending on what arrangements we can make with the different venues that we use.

What’s the age group?

Florida Singles’ Connection events attract a well balanced mix of ages. People attending our events simply gravitate to those in their own age bracket or to whomever they feel comfortable socializing with. Most of our events are open to all ages. Everyone should feel comfortable because we make every effort to attract enough people to meet in your age range. On occasion, we do hold age specific events which will be clear in our announcements.

How Should I dress?

Most of our events are held at upscale, impressive locations, but the attire is never formal. You are going to a singles dance. Wear what you would normally wear when you like to go out on the weekend to look nice. We ask that you dress to impress. If you dress like a slob, nobody will want to meet you. We do reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone who is not dressed neatly. For the men: a nice pair of dress slacks and a collared shirt is perfect. Some men like to wear a sports jacket. Please, no shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, flip flops, sandals, hats or sneakers. For the ladies: dresses, skirts, dressy pants outfits, club attire etc. would be great.
